Intermediate pilot, realizing, that when wind speed goes above 30 km/h it is niether comfortable or safe to fly a cross country glider, decided to try Fujin 22 sqm. With take-off weight of 110 KG Fujin 22 sqm works as miniwing 😁.
This kind of situation, when wind picks up at the coast, paraglider pilots rush to land 😬, and airspace becomes full of Parakites. May be a few high performance paragliders (EN-D) operated by skilled pilots stay.
But that was not the case that day, intermediate pilot on Fujin 22 was sharing the air with Mustache 18 and Mullet X 20, and his feedback was that he felt very comfortable and safe.
And here how it looks like –
How it was filmed?
Interesting – to chase the Pilot, cameraman (Hugo) used 15 sqm miniwing (Yoti 3). See the picture below.
So, a week ago, when wind picks up, and there are ~19 sqm size parakites flying hands up and 15 sqm miniwing playing, Intermediate pilot would smash speedbar on their XC glider and go for landing, which is a smart thing to do when wind picks up.
But now, with Fujin 22 and 110 KG TOW they can join the party, and fly longer. Just need to practice cobra launch.

Conclusion
When you plan a trip for coast soaring, having a Fujin 22 is an advantage as you can now safely fly stronger winds that would do on your XC glider.
You can be more confident that when you plan to fly, you go flying.
