Tandem and solo at the same time

16th February of 2026 was great weather to fly at Fonte da Telha (Portugal, Lisbon area).
As result, 3 sizes of Fujin – 22, 25 and 29 square meters were airborn as tandem and solo.
Pilots were:
– flying;
– landing;
– pulling collapses on the ground;
– discussing gliders construction and coast soaring in general.

Different level pilots were impressed by Fujin‘s presize control. Even though, Fonte da Telha can be challenging for XC glider top landing, landing Fujin feels so natural.

All pilots gave Fujin positive feedback. Next day old gliders started appearing on second hand market and Fujins are on the way to their new owners.

At sunset time Hugo Gaudêncio impressed pilots by “no hands” take off and landing, showing not only pilot’s skills but also Fujin‘s abilities. Check the video below to see how it was.

In conlusion – Fujin demo day is a great chance to try glider (in different sizes) yourself and also get feedback from other pilots. And of course it is a lot fun to fly and film each other.
